Current Mechanics:

  • Attack Rolls: Combat follows Initium-style checks. For both you and the enemy, a random number is rolled between 0 and your Dex stat.

    • If your roll is higher than the enemy’s, you land a hit.

    • If lower, you miss.

    • The enemy then makes the same check against you.

  • Health Points (HP):

    • Base HP = 3 × Strength (Str)

  • Running Away:

    • Requires a Dex check.

    • Success: you escape, and the enemy is added to a queue where you can choose to pick up the fight. 

    • Failure: the enemy gets a chance to strike before you can attempt again.

Loot System:

  • The only loot currently implemented is Health Potions.

    • Potions appear as buttons under your stats when you are out of combat.

    • You can't be in combat to use them, so you must run away risking damage on the escape attempt if you need one so plan carefully.

  • Potion drop rate decreases over time.

    • King Godot always drops one.

    • Big Orcs and Sparkly Elves have fixed drop chances.
